Being a Godly Girl in Today's World

Thrifty Shopping June 8, 2010

Love sale shopping and bargain hunting?  Don’t buy clothes unless they’re super cheap?  You need to delve into the world of thrift stores (if you already haven’t).  Thrift stores are wonderful places to find great bargains on normally expensive, name-brand clothes.  Some thrift stores are much more worthwhile than others, and it definitely pays off if you know where to go.  Below is a list of some of the best thrift stores in the Memphis area that I’ve visited or heard about.  Notice that Summer Avenue is chock full of them!

Plato’s Closet (220 Germantown Pkwy. & 454 Perkins)

The DAV Store (3440 Summer Ave.)

The Junior League Thrift Store (3586 Summer Ave.)

Summer Outlet (3466 Summer Ave.)

Mid-South Outlet (3432 Summer Ave.)

Goodwill Thrift Store (574 South Highland St.)

Thrift Town (6646 Winchester Rd.)
